Everywhere you look in Whale’s Tale something catches your eye – playing cards shaped like dog bones or fish, hand-tooled leather journals, Sailor’s Valentines, and sterling silver baby rattles to name a few. The jewelry is in cases around the store, with exotic-sounding stones like lavender jade and lemon quartz. Styles range from sophisticated (pearls and sterling silver) to whimsical (moonface or jellyfish earrings). Bring the tykes, since the kids’ section is incredible.
