OWNERS Warren and Barbara Nuessle live the “alpaca lifestyle,” a quiet and simple existence raising these friendly, adorable animals, which have wonderfully thick coats in a spectrum of colors.
The 10-acre farm is great for a family visit. Children love the alpacas, who are as curious as they are cute. Come see how the alpaca fiber is spun into yarn, then pick up a sweater, scarf, blanket, or hat made from the yarn in the store. If you like to knit, choose from the big selection of colors and make your own. As Barbara, a dedicated knitter, says, “Alpacas are literally sweaters on legs.”
