BECAUSE of the Monge family’s desire to serve fresh, healthy, wholesome food and the best in coffee, offering Costa Rican and organic espresso. Bella means beautiful in Italian, and Vida means life in Spanish. This family-friendly, affordable restaurant is no longer the best-kept secret in town. Bella Vida’s eclectic European/Latin atmosphere reflects the owners’ Italian and Costa Rican heritage, though the All-American influence is felt in breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites.
The omelets are superb, and include the Jeremiah Twenty Nine Eleven (named for Jeannie’s favorite scripture verse), made with spinach, feta, and mushrooms. Entrees to salivate over include baked homemade meatloaf, or chicken and crab.
Bella Vida has many dining options, with several vegetarian choices and they serve gluten free pasta. Try the homemade pies, especially the apple!
