This is an extraordinary time at Cape May Stage. After the 2006 season ranked as the most successful, highest-acclaimed and best attended in the theatre’s history, the 2007 season topped it in every way — including earning multiple statewide and county-level prestigious awards!
The upcoming 2008 season promises to be bigger, better, and extra special as Cape May Stage celebrates its 20th anniversary as Cape May’s premier, professional Equity theatre company. In addition to the special events and features throughout the season to commemorate this milestone, audiences will continue to experience the diverse and engaging programming they’ve come to expect — stories that entertain, challenge, and provoke.
The season opens with an entertaining one-man tour-de-force, followed by a classic Noel Coward romantic comedy, a Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, a perfect World Series theatre treat, a smoky, jazzy story about a legendary blues singer, and a tender homage to the greatest holiday film of all time.
